New Year - New Socks
Remember this..............................my first attempt at hand painting yarn.
I turned it into these...........................
Two pairs of socks finished this month, both are from patterns by the wonderful Anni of Sockmania (if you haven't joined you really should). The first pair are the New Year's Sock (January) and the second pair are Snowflakes (December). Every month Anni provides a free pattern (and they really are spectacular sock patterns) if you knit the socks you are eligible for the drawing of Anni's hand dyed yarn. Glad to know you have got off to a wonderful knitting new year. Elijah is lovely I look forward to seeing him. The snowflake socks are really nice. And your handpainted is spectacular they look like a tequila sunrise.
those socks are so cool. oh and i love BBc 7 as well.
Your hand dyed yarn socks look fantastic. You are clever! My socks have stalled because I can't minlessly knit them when I'm tired. I suppose that means start another pair in stocking stitch.
