New Year - New Socks

Remember this..............................my first attempt at hand painting yarn.

I turned it into these...........................

Two pairs of socks finished this month, both are from patterns by the wonderful Anni of Sockmania (if you haven't joined you really should). The first pair are the New Year's Sock (January) and the second pair are Snowflakes (December). Every month Anni provides a free pattern (and they really are spectacular sock patterns) if you knit the socks you are eligible for the drawing of Anni's hand dyed yarn. I just cast on the Mystery Sock and I am also finishing up Elijah by the amazing Ysolda.
